What is Trick Art ?

Trick Art is a form of art interpretation using the precise visual manipulation of commonly known as optical illusion. The perfect integration of color, perspective techniques and lighting created outstanding collection of 3D effects that emerges from a flat surface paintings.

Trick Art dapat dikategorikan sebagai seni yang memanfaatkan manipulasi daya pandang manusia yang sering disebut sebagai optical illusion. Dengan perpaduan warna, perspektif serta teknik pencahayaan yang detail maka akan tercipta efek 3D yang terbentuk dari rangkaian lukisan pada objek datar.

History of Trick Art 

Originated from Japan in 1980, Trick Art uses three main concepts of visual illusions, geometry illusion that is structured-based, physiological illusion which is processed between the brain and the eyes and psychology illusion that relates to reason. The combination, and sometimes conflict of these illusions exploded into a new perspective and appreciation of paintings.

Awalnya Trick Art ini berasal dari Jepang tahun 1980, Trick Art memanfaatkan unsur utama dalam penciptaan ilusi penglihatan, ilusi geometri yang mengacu pada konsep struktur benda, ilusi fisiologis yang merupakan proses antara otak dan mata serta ilusi yang mengedepankan rasa dan alasan yaitu ilusi psikologis. Konflik antara tiga ilusi ini menciptkan sudut pandang, perasaan, dan akirnya timbul apresiasi baru dan mengejutkan dalam melihat sebuah karya pada objek datar.

Taman Bunga Nusantara #latepost

West Java is well known with the spot for recreation. One of them is Taman Bunga Nusantara (TBN) or Bunga Nusantara Garden. TBN was founded in 1992 and inaugurated by President Soeharto on 10 September 1995. Its location is in Jalan Mariwati KM 7 Desa Kawungluwuk Sukaresmi, Cianjur, Jawa Barat.

We went there by big rental car (It can carry 9 people). I had seat in the back with two colleagues and we were singing all the way there. We agreed to wear full color like a rainbow.

At 12.00 o'clock we arrived. I felt so hungry, so the first did was lunch. We had fried duck with rice on the mat in the garden. Oh how beautiful of togetherness.

They have many kind of thematic gardens. Those are Japanese Garden, rose garden, secret garden, French garden, Mediterania Garden, Palm Garden, Water Garden, Balinese Garden.

However at my visit with my colleagues on May 25, 2013 last time, we only stopped in Japanese Garden, French Garden, and Green House. because TBN was so huge, we were tired and had to go back to Jakarta to avoid bad traffic jam.

Its design is inspired by France Garden in Renaissance era from France. It's identical to Geometrical shape. They plant Taiwan Beauty shrubs look like embroidery on the ground, in France it called broderie de par terre or Sulaman di atas tanah. Source from: Here

Action in Japanese Garden

Beautiful flower shaped like a peacock. The appearance can be different depend on the types or color of the flower

My impression about this place: TBN has very beautiful scene and fresh air.

Recommended spot for taking pictures especially for prewedding photo.

Ticket is only 30.000 IDR per person. Operational hour: Week Day (08.00 - 17.00), Week end and National Holiday (08.00-17.30).

 You will not regret to visit Taman Bunga Nusantara.

Around Jakarta with Andrea and Vig

Sunday, 24 February 2013. I waited at lobby of Harris Hotel to meet our company guest from India and Italy. It was another task to accompany company guests during the weekend. It was from my Marketing Manager. Actually I didn't think that it was a "task" cause I really enjoyed to do this. :)

I have met Vig before, but for Andrea, this was the first time.

This time we started to have sightseeing in the afternoon (at 2 p.m. we scheduled to meet). Started at 2 p.m. meant we wouldn't have many places to visit.

The first stop, we went to Fatahillah and Wayang Museum (Kota Tua Area). Because we visited here in the Sunday last week of the month, so The Museum was closed. (what a pity) .We only went around outside, but we were lucky cause we met the "statue man" that ever showed in TV.

Because we have already had lunch, we only ordered snack and drink at Batavia Cafe.

We went to Central Jakarta to visit Monas "Monumen Nasional".

Here is little information about Monas from wikipedia.org

The National Monument (Indonesian: Monumen Nasional), or simply Monas is a 132 m tower in the center of Merdeka Square, Central Jakarta, symbolizing the fight for Indonesia. It is the national monument of Indonesia, built to commemorate the struggle for Indonesian Independence. Construction began in 1961 under the direction of President Sukarno. Monas was opened to the public in 1975. It is topped by a flame covered with gold foil. The monument and the museum are open daily from 08.00 - 15.00 Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7) throughout the week except for the last Monday of each month when the monument is closed.

After that we went to Jimbaran Resto at Ancol Area to have dinner and see the Bali dance Performance. On the way there, we dropped for awhile at small lake at Ancol Area to see the beautiful lampion.

I was really glad because my guests Andrea and Vig really enjoyed the traveling.

In the end, I opened the gifts from Andrea and Vig.

I thought to give them handicraft from Solo. So, I ordered them directly from Solo. It took 3 days to arrive Jakarta. So I estimated it will be arrived at Thursday.

They left Jakarta to go back to their country at Friday in the morning. So Thursday was the last chance to give them my gift.

However, I received the gifts on Friday afternoon, cause there was a trouble in the expedition service...Hiks hiks :(

I couldn't give it to them.

I hope that Vig or Andrea will come to Indonesia someday or may be If there are any colleagues from their country, from the same office, I will have chance to give the gifts for them.
