Mullet Dress

Mullet dress is a dress with long in the back and short in the front. It can be long or short. I bought this mullet dress last year.
I only buy what I like, but sometimes I buy clothes that I've already known that I will never or seldom wear it. It's only for fulfill my desire. Sometimes, we buy what we like not we actually need. Yup, every girl likes doing the same thing right?

According to Melissa Liebling-Goldberg, fashion and beauty editor for POPSUGAR, insists the high-low gown is an ideal option when you can’t decide what to wear. “It’s a great way to show off your legs without feeling as revealing as you would be in a mini-skirt.”

2. PETITE?

Petite ladies can have a hard time finding a maxi dress that doesn’t require a visit to the seamstress. Hilfiger says this is why the mullet dress is perfect for women who are shorter. “Many times when buying a maxi dress or skirt, women run into the problem with it being too long and tripping over the front,” explains Hilfiger. “With a mullet dress you could walk confidently while letting the back flow gracefully behind you.”

3. NOT JUST FOR TEENS

New York City-based designer Autumn Hawk says that while it can be difficult to take this trend seriously, she believes it’s here to stay and anyone, regardless of their age, can pull it off. “The key to wearing the trend is to understand that the very pattern, or the cut, is enough,” she says. “Avoid prints or patterns. Go for a solid colored dress when you want to look more chic and less teenage.”

“The focus definitely goes onto your calves and feet, so think of it as a frame for your shoes and pick accordingly,” explains Goldberg. “Strappy sandals will look terrific, but skip a too-chunky platform or wedge that will compete with the delicate feeling of this flowy skirt.” And don’t even think about those ballet flats. “Don’t wear flats if you are short,” adds celebrity stylist Ali Levine. “These dresses are not meant to hit the floor!”
5. LOOK LEAN
Ever dreamed of being as statuesque as a supermodel? Levine says a high-low dress can help you reach new heights by creating the illusion of appearing taller. For effective results, you cannot let the gown do all of the work. “Make sure you walk with proper posture and poise,” says Levine. “The style of the dress really puts focus on your legs and will not look so pretty if you’re slouched. Also, don’t over accessorize. Too much on your body can draw attention away from the beautiful cut of the dress.
